Dr. Yogesh Sonawane is a dedicated academician and researcher in Mechanical Engineering with a strong focus on sustainable development, alternative fuels, and internal combustion engine optimization. His Ph.D. is in the field of Energy and Emission Analysis of Partially Premixed Combustion Using Biofuels by Multiple Injection in Compression Ignition Engines. His research explores advanced combustion strategies, biodiesel integration, and parametric optimization for improving engine efficiency and reducing environmental impact. He is actively involved in teaching Automobile Engineering, Engineering Graphics, and Internal Combustion Engines to undergraduate students. Additionally, he serves as the Faculty In-charge of the Mechanical Engineering Students Association, guiding students in technical and industrial activities. Beyond engineering, Dr. Yogesh Sonawane is also pursuing an LLB degree, aiming to integrate legal knowledge with technological advancements in his field. He has organized multiple industrial visits, workshops, and technical events to bridge the gap between academia and industry. His contributions extend to mentoring Ph.D. scholars, publishing impactful research, and promoting outcome-based education in engineering studies.
